Which class is right for me?
Would you like to learn to play piano? In Beginning Piano we start right from the top - reading music, naming the keys, and learning how to play! This year-long class earns you 1 fine arts credit towards graduation, and if you like it you can stay with it, and move to Advanced Piano.
If you have already had some private piano lessons for at least a year, you can probably go right into Advanced Piano. Stop by and see Mrs. Kirk or Mrs. Robertson for more information. Advanced Piano encompasses kids that have just finished Beginning, all the way through kids who have been playing since they were tiny. It's a structured class that focuses on individual repertoire, technique, music theory, and developing performance skills.
