Welcome to Intermediate Piano!
This class is for students who have had only 1 year of piano experience. The class has 2 recitals a year, one in the fall and one in the spring, where each student will play one memorized solo in our beautiful new auditorium!
The calendar below will show important dates for this course - when scales and technique etudes are due, etc. Add it to your own to stay organized!

Practice Trackers
Keeping a journal of your daily practice is an important part of improving your piano skills, as it allows you to stay focused on WHAT you are practicing, and give every minute of your practice time a PURPOSE. Your time is valuable! Unfocused practice time is not practicing, and your time will be wasted. We want your time to be so productive that your skills are amazing by the end of the year!
Each marking period ("six-weeks", although there's rarely actually 6 weeks...) there is a template for you to follow for keeping this journal, which gets grades around once every two weeks. While the overall idea doesn't change, sometimes there are new goals added to choose from that reflect what we're doing in class. Below are the templates handed out so far:

Marking Period Reflections...
As each marking period ends, you have a chance to reflect upon your progress for the entire six weeks. Use the link below to enter your responses:
(NOTE: this is separate from your performance reflection, which only sums up your out-loud performance test and not the marking period as a whole.)
